7 Davidson Haring

7th grade students learned about contemporary artist Keith Haring.  Haring was famous for his graffiti inspired art work using simplified shapes that emphasized movement.  The artist learned gestural figure drawing from live models.  Once this was mastered, the students created their own Keith Haring inspired figures incorporating scenes showing movement or emotion.
